FAQs

Do I need to book my tour in advance?

Yes, we need at least 48-hours notice before the tour in order to run it properly. The day before the Tour we make sure all restaurants are prepared for the tour and ready to go. For this reason, full refunds are only given if more than 48 hour before the tour, within 12-24 hours we can reschedule the tour but are not able to give a Refund. If less than 12 hours remain before the tour you are welcome to send another person in your place, but we cannot reschedule or give a refund at that time.

What if I have Food Allergies or dietary restrictions?

Please, let us know! while we cannot guarantee each restaurant will be able to accommodate, they likely will do what they can. Each of these locations has worked within these restrictions before. If you let us know your needs when you book we will make sure to inform the locations on the tour and make it so you can enjoy the tour just as much as anyone else.

Is alcohol served?

Not exactly. We do not include alcohol in the price of the tour. On the Evening tour, You are welcome to add your own drinks at some stops but you will need to pay an extra charge. We do have one location that offers a gift card rather than an actual menu item, this can be used to purchase anything from their menu.

The Afternoon Snacks tour does not offer the add on of alcohol at the locations we visit.

What if I want to book a private tour?

We would love to talk to you about that. Tour sizes are limited to 8 people, but we have options for a group tour if you book with Katie. These tours can be done for groups outside of the regular tour times. Email katie@ktevents.ca

Should I tip at each location?

We got you covered at each location. We make sure we tip each location so it is included in your tour price. Tips for our Tour Guide are not included in your ticket price but are absolutely at your discretion. We never expect tips, but they are always appreciated.

Is there Parking?

There are lots of options for parking. The street had many parking options that are free to use. This is the best option for parking. We recommend parking on McRae street or Alberta Ave. The Okotoks Art Gallery and Okotoks Museum and Archives also have large parking lots that you can use.

Are Children Allowed?

Yes, however, we recommend the tour for 12 and older. There is quite a bit of walking (10 min max at a time)and some food options are quite unique.

What happens in the case of bad weather?

We will go ahead anyway. Rain, shine, or chill. We are only outside for short bursts, so as long as you have an umbrella, warm clothing, or some water you will be comfortable and able to rock! The longest stretch outside is 10 min and then we are inside again.
